Tim Morton CMA
As Controller, he provides fiscal management oversight of the operating and development properties and is responsible for monitoring the collection and disbursement of all the properties funds. He is responsible for the financial management systems, internal controls, statements, and reports and analyses. As well as providing payroll services and the HR function for the employees of Knightstone, he also directs financial audits of the company’s properties and assets.
Before becoming Controller, he served as a Director of Finance for SNC Lavlin Operations and Maintenance where he spent 9 years before joining Knightstone. Tim developed his career in roles that included a Real Estate Manager for a mezzanine lender, Controller of a condominium developer and management company, Accounting Manager for the Canadian Automobile Association and Accounting roles with a major retail shopping centre and office building developer.
Tim received his Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation in 1990.
